I elected to perform a senior recital during my final semester at University of Mary Washington. I chose a theme of “20th Century Tunes,” playing 6 pieces of flue, and one vocal piece at the end. I am thrilled that friends that I found here were willing to accompany me for the final two pieces, as a jazz combo. There was a reception in the dome room adjacent to the weatherly wing in Seacobeck hall, where the recital took place. Family drove in from out of town and Nathan put together sandwiches and snacks for everyone. It was a wonderful experience. Look for video clips I will post to YouTube of the performance.
